Capricorn Film Festival has announced that screen and television legend, Michael Caton will join the team as Festival Parton.

The glorious central Queensland town of Yeppoon hosted a film festival over the weekend, screening the best local and international short films, with an esteemed jury on hand to judge and also host various panels. We are certainly biased, after being invited by Capricorn Film Festival’s Luke Graham to trek north to be a part of the judging panel, along with panels on everything from film distribution to acting.

Capricorn film festival relocates to Yeppoon

Capricorn Film Festival director Luke Graham has confirmed the popular festival will relocate from Gladstone to Yeppoon in 2018. In line with this announcement, both Keppel Coast Arts and Livingstone Shire Council have confirmed their partnership with the Capricorn Film Festival and will provide extensive support and funding for the 2018 festival program. It is envisaged a funding agreement will be organised with a five-year plan for the festival.
