FILMMAKER WORKSHOP GLADSTONE

Presented by Screen Queensland, Filmmaker Workshop Gladstone is a workshop provided for a diverse group of Gladstone region emerging and practising film artists by Queensland film industry professionals.

The intimate filmmaking workshop will run on the 3rd of June 2023.

Presented by Screen Queensland, Filmmaker Workshop Gladstone is a workshop provided for a diverse group of Gladstone region emerging and practising film artists by Queensland film industry professionals.

Ever wanted to learn how to write a short story for screen? Or how to be a director, camera operator or sound recordist? Meet like minded people and learn tips from the production team behind feature documentary Sharko, being filmed in the Gladstone region.

This short introduction workshop is this and so much more as you learn entry level skills into the filmmaking process, from idea inception through to distribution.​ The filmmaking workshop includes story and characters, hands of experience with cinema quality equipment (camera, sound and lighting) breaking down scenes of a film, writing a scene, filming and editing.

Participants to Bring Food and Water Notebook and Pen

 

Participants require no previous experience prior to the course, just an enthusiasm for cinema and film making. We encourage any students that were unable to take part in the workshop offered via their school to attend.

 

Age restriction is 10 up.
