Meet your Mentor is an online initiative presented through Zoom, where Gladstone region residents will get to have one on one time with Australian film, tv, and arts industry professionals who will provide inspiration, direction and education through their mentorship.

To apply, complete the form and submit your request including all the required questions by the due date of 15th April. Up to three applicants per mentor will be selected from the completed forms.

Dov is the founder of Australian movie magazine, FilmInk and Australian distributor Pivot Pictures (formally Filmink Presents).

 

FilmInk Magazine was launched in July, 1997, and is Australia’s longest running and most popular consumer movie magazine. FilmInk Magazine’s website is also a popular venue, receiving approximately 2500 unique visitors per day. The magazine is also available digitally, including on Virgin Airlines flights. 

 

Pivot Pictures has distributed over 20 feature films and documentaries over the past two years and is one of Australia's more successful theatrical distributors.

Jonathan Page established Bonsai Films
in 2008 working with film companies and producers to manage TV/ancillary sales, theatrical distribution, international film sales and development. 

Jonathan also acts as an executive producer, supporting producers with development, financing, distribution and commercial
deal making expertise. Titles include The Babadook, Broke, Mary & Max and Animals, all

of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Tim Ross

TIM ROSS

ACTOR

Tim Ross is an Australian actor best known for having played Steve Beaumont in Wonderland.

 

He has also appeared in the television series NeighboursRush and Mrs Biggs and the telemovie Underbelly Files: Tell Them Lucifer was Here.

In 2017, Ross joined the cast of Home and Away, playing James Mayvers, the love interest of Roo Stewart played by Georgie Parker. Tim’s feature film debut was in the movie Benefited with Clare McCann where he played Mitch followed by the lead role in Romance On The Menu with Cindy Busby.
