Presented by Gladstone Regional Council and Screen Queensland, Filmmaker Workshop Gladstone is a workshop provided for a diverse group of Gladstone region emerging and practising film artists by Queensland film industry professionals.

The intimate filmmaking workshop will run on the 27th and 28th of August. 


Ever wanted to learn how to write a short story for screen? Or how to be a director, camera operator or sound recordist? Meet like minded people and learn tips to make a short film for the 2023 Capricorn Film Festival.

This short introduction workshop is this and so much more as you learn entry level skills into the filmmaking process, from idea inception through to distribution. Learn from the team behind feature documentary, Sharko which will be filming in the region after the workshop.
